Bear trap is functional with the included rubber band, pressure must be placed on one of the jaws to activate.
The center mechanism is for looks only.
The trap was designed with simplicity and durability in mind.

6" x 6.5" X 1.25"

Dimensions 10":
10" x 10" X 2"

Contains small parts and screws so these are not recommended for small children.
